Wiki

A Shinto shrine located in Tokyo, Japan. Built to honour deceased Japanese soldiers during the Imperial era of Japan (1876 - 1951). The shrine has became a focal point in East Asian political debate (specifically China and Korea), as it was the resting place of several notorious war criminals during Japanese conquest of Asia and World War II, including Hideki Tojo.
