Wiki

Kaminarimon (雷門), or "Thunder Gate," is the iconic outer gate of Sensō-ji temple in Asakusa, Tokyo. The gate is instantly recognizable by its massive red paper lantern (chōchin) hanging in the center, which bears the characters 雷門. It features statues of the gods Fūjin (wind) and Raijin (thunder) on either side and is one of Tokyo's most photographed landmarks.
