Wiki
A shin guard is a piece of personal protective equipment worn between the knee and the ankle, used to prevent injuries to the lower leg. An essential piece of equipment in many sports such as hockey and baseball, where they are commonly seen nowadays. Shin guards can be considered a lesser form of leg armor and applicable to fantasy settings.
