Nijisanji's Indian branch, first announced in November 2019 and began activity in January 2020. The branch was briefly rebranded to Nijisanji EN in June 2020, due to failed marketing within India and attempting to diversify in light of growing international interest in the brand, before being changed back to Nijisanji IN in late November 2020 (due to auditions for Nijisanji EN opening in December).
